LESS THAN 10 BALES LEFT!!!!     LOW CARB Big bales of orchard/brome 3x3x8 are estimated at 700+ lbs..  Certified weed free. Nutrition data below.  Estimated inventory today: 140 bales.  This is good hay if you are free-choice feeding, have easy keepers or need low carb forage.  Some have asked how the WSC (Water Sol.Carbs.) can be 1/2 as much on this hay while the protein is at the high end... well I'll explain.  After cutting this grass it was naturally rinsed with ONLY pure rain water; then it was raked and fluffed until properly dried.  The rain water rinse disolves away sugar... and keeping it fluffed allows proper drying to avoid spoilage.  The trick is to time the cutting time to coincide with rain a few days later... I seem to have developed a knack for this!  Now that we are in warmer weather and my horses Peppy, Summer, Charlie and Josie are all a bit 'chunky' this is the hay they are all enjoying.  Here are some pictures I took Sunday 5/15/11-
